SC Career Day cover.

Science communication with the general public is important to all scientists. Some scientists go on to become professional communicators - they now work as journalists, bloggers, moderators, writers and corporate communication specialists. Have you ever wondered who is behind the scenes of scientific newspaper articles, popular science magazines, TV/radio shows or science education? For our Science Communication Career Day we invited guests from the Press and Public Relations Office of DKFZ and EMBL, various companies and journalists to give us a sneak peak and some insights on their work as communicators of science. Just like our previous Career Day, participants can register to have lunch with one of the speakers or some of their colleagues for informal discussions. Please register via http://scicomcareerday.eventbrite.com/. If you have any further questions, don´t hesitate to contact us via [email protected]. /KJ
