If I trap air inside of a box underwater and light fire in the trapped air, the fire would consume all oxygen, but what would happen to the left carbon?

Experimental question Created on 16 Jul 2020

Details

Details:

- air is trapped inside of a impermeable box (upside down obviously, because otherwise the air would escape;

- fire will consume ALL oxygen;

- air is in contact with water, but all the water in the tank, pool, sea, bigger box, etc.;

Here's some possible results: (not sure if they can be possible at all)

-water with carbon become carbonic acid, using the water oxygen (?)

-box will crash from pressure (less volume because all oxygen was consumed) leaving the carbon exposed to so much water that no reaction will happen (??)

- if the amount of water that carbon is exposed to is too big, no reaction would happen (?)
