The Lancet Editorial on social prescribing1 highlighted the growing evidence base and expanding practice of social prescribing, while also identifying key priorities for future research in this space. Building on this important conversation, we draw attention to the often-overlooked needs of culturally and linguistically diverse populations, including immigrants, refugees, and Indigenous peoples. These communities frequently face substantial barriers to accessing health and social services, including language difficulties, low health literacy, and unfamiliarity with complex support systems, which contribute to poorer health and wellbeing outcomes.
