    Mutation is when there is a change to the DNA sequence. This can be by adding, removing, replacing pieces of the DNA. An example in humans is cystic fibrosis and there are many order medical conditions caused by mutations. In addition, mutation can also occur in plants, and can cause changes in the appearance of the foliage, flowers, fruit, or stems. The mutation displayed in plants are by breaks, sports or those bearing chimera.
